Well, the family visit came and went. A good time was had by the kids, with trips to the water park, museum, and lots of video games and movies. Pics and full recap will come later. Both Janet and I are a bit drained from the week, and work has piled up for me (Janet also has to get Jacky back on schedule). In the meantime, I had posted some pcis on the family site which I hadn't mentioned before. They can be found here.

Xander had his kindergarten graduation. It was hot, sticky and disorganized. Janet did not cry, but his Yee-Yees came to see as well. Jacky pooped in the potty (you have to be quick to catch it, though) and is a much happier baby nowadays. Xander now wants to ride his bicycle all the time.
Jacky does this funny thing where she closes her eyes when she laughs (on purpose). We tried to catch it on video, but weren't too succesful.
New pics and videos up on the family page.

Jacky is officially onto formula. She is also not quite as clingy to mom as before, but there's still a long way to go. In other news, Xander has learned how to ride a bicycle without training wheels! Yay! (only a couple of falls). Xander has also received his high white belt in karate (yay again!). Graduation from kindergarten tomorrow (yay times 3!)

Not too much to report. But Jacky was able to sit up on her own for the first time today. Kind of makes it harder to put her to bed, though.

Well, my desktop hard drive crashed, and hopefully I didn't lose all of Xander's infancy pics. Oh, well. That's why this site hasn't been updated for some time.
Several things have happened of note, but without regular updates, I can't really remember them. So just the recent stuff.
Yee Yee came to Brooklyn to visit, and the kids had a good time. She saw first hand that Jacky is not always a monster; she is actually quite happy when at home with the family.
We took a trip to Westchester, where the family and I had our first Rye Playland experience. Fun!
Xander recently started karate again, and had his first board breaking session. Mom and dad were scared, but Xander did well, although he did get a boo boo on his elbow from multiple failed attempts.
Jacky's first teeth are quite sharp.
Oh, and we got a new car- a honda accord- yay! Janet has slowly reentered the world of driving. Baby steps.
As usual, picture and video evidence of the above can be found here.

I know I have a lot of videos of Jacky up already, but she really does have a good laugh in this one

Xander just finished spring break, and we took the family out to San Francisco to visit friends and family. It was a good trip, aside from the plane/taxi ride back home. Jack-jack was a monster, crying or sleeping the entire way. Once we walked in the door, she was quite content. She definitely is a stay at home baby.
As usual, click here for a picture/video recap.
As an aside, I have put space aside on this site for the Chin and the Fa-Lee families. If they ever get around to making their pages, they can be found at craigchin.winstonlee.net and honem.winstonlee.net (there's probably nothing to see there right now)

Whew. A lot has transpired in the last 10 days. First off, the weather has gotten better. Jacky had her first encounter with the swings, which she enjoyed. Xander also got to go to his first Broadway production, thanks to his Yee Yee. Jacky is a lot more smiley now, although Xander is still the only one who can make her laugh consistently. Xander also recently had a bout with scarlet fever, for which he is taking antibiotics.
We are excited to go out to the west coast next week.
As always, visual proof of the above can be found here. Also, for those of you who play halo2 online, I have some stuff you can look at here.

Jacky had her 6 month check up today. She's not quite as heavy as we had expected, coming in at 18.2 pounds (we thought she would have broken the twenty pound mark). Our recent visit to the dermatologist was quite helpful. We have a new oil for her skin which has cleared it up quite nicely. She is much less cranky now than before, although she hasn't started sleeping through the night again.
Xander is a good big brother. He can easily make Jac jac laugh. When he throws stuff in the air, its high comedy. When the parents do it, Jac jac just gives us a blank stare.
He now says that he loves Jacky more than Xbox.
Dave and Courtenay (our friends from Hawaii) had a baby boy- Cole Young. We must go visit them soon.
